Transformation begins in the home Therapeutic Alliance is a private, mental health agency offering professional mental health counseling throughout Virginia. We strive to provide culturally sensitive counseling services to children, adults, and their families in several languages. We offer in-home mental health services​ to help children and mentally challenged youth and adults from being institutionalized. We provide care for the abused and neglected in their home environment. We offer parenting education and help with parent/child conflict as well as child development. We work with clients with issues such as the following: mental retardation, post-traumatic​ stress disorder, grievance, self-esteem issues, autism behavior services, depression and anxiety, anger management​, oppositional defiant syndrome, and more. We also offer family counseling, outpatient​ counseling, mental health skill building, and intensive in-home counseling.
