Today I visited Jim's Firearms for two main reasons: extraction of ammo stuck in the receiver of a Remington 870, and learning how to disassemble and clean a Colt 1911. I also had other miscellaneous questions. Nick (one of the gunsmiths) patiently, expertly, and cheerfully answered all my questions and then some, without charge. He even gave me some 0000 steel wool to help clean off rust. Don had the same wonderful service and advice as I sought advice about the kind of cleaning kit to buy. Jim's treated me like family.
