Up until tonight, my ten year old daughter, Jennifer had been going to this gym for gymnastics training for almost two years. Everything was going smoothly until about 4 months ago when the only instructor she had for the two years she had been there (Coach Chris) left. He had explained he would be leaving so we debated even staying as we knew the other coaches that worked there and we were NOT impressed by what we had witnessed. They brought in a new, young kid, Mark to teach the Tues & Thurs 7:45-8:45PM class. Almost immediatley, my daughter complained that Mark ignored her during the class. She was in advanced class and all of the other girls in her class were in high school. (14 up) The older girls (being typical teenagers) goofed off constantly during class, and were very argumentative with the "Coach" when he tried to give them feedback. They even made fun of each other when one girl would mess up, with "Coach" present, he never said a word. He clearly had no control of the class and seemed uninterested in actually doing his job as a "coach". After class tonight I noticed that my daughter had remained unsupervised in back of gym while Mark worked with the other girls. I observed this for over 45 minutes. He never once came over to check in on her. After I witnessed this all evening, I became so upset, I walked out on gym floor and told my daughter to get her things as we were leaving. Everything was going smoothly until about 4 months ago when the only instructor she had for the two years she had been there (Coach Chris) left. He had explained he would be leaving so we debated even staying as we knew the other coaches that worked there and we were NOT impressed by what we had witnessed.
