I had the same experience as the previous reviewer. Mike did a fantastic job fixing a poor tile job in a shower - it was a small but tough job, and he was thorough and clean. The only problem was it took him several (like 6) weeks after the proposed start date for him to start, and during that delay it was like he was on the dark side of the moon - complete radio silence. Well, he did good work at a good price, so we contacted him to retile our kitchen, entrance, hall, mudroom and powder room - a much bigger job. He was reasonably responsive about getting out to our place to quote the job, so we hired him in October. We also went ahead an purchased all the materials (tile, mortar, grout, cement board, etc.) which was delivered on two pallets in our garage by the tile store - which is where it has sat for the past 2 months. I have tried to reach Mike by phone, by text and by email. He hasn't responded even once. Not once. Not even to say, sorry, but I can't get to your job. Even when I've left messages pleading for a call back just to let us know whether we should set up our Christmas tree or wait in case he intends to start the job - nothing. I tried to reach him through The Tile Shoppe where he gets his materials. I tried to reach him through the home remodeling contractors who first referred him to me. Nothing. Mike does really great work at a reasonable price, but hire him only if you don't care if your job ever gets done or if you ever hear from him again.

Had work completed in basement last year which was well done. However, when a recent attempt was made to inquire about additional services, no return phone call, email or text was made. All avenues of communication were ignored. Very unprofessional and unfortunate, as I would have liked to have referred the company for more business.

Stay away from this installer! He installed marble tiles in our foyer. He insisted on getting full payment the day tiles were installed. My wife paid him more than half. Once the grout dried we noticed several tiles had a lip and not properly installed. He came and admitted installation problems. He fixed a few tiles and promised to come back to fix others. But now it has been several days and he hasn’t shown up and doesn’t even respond to phone calls. I will have to get someone else to undo his mess and reinstall for double the price. He definitely screwed us royally. Absolutely stay away!!!
