DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS! Chris Lowe insists that my decorator told him to WASH 4 pair of expensive custom made draperies instead of dry cleaning them. They were returned to me shrunken and totally ruined. Chris said the lady who cleans his items has over 25+ years experience. What dry cleaner would EVER wash custom, lined draperies? He refuses to pay for their replacement. I had to retain an attorney because Chris said, "Go ahead, call your lawyer. I don't care." Chris is a very childish, hot headed man and yells in anger at you on the phone. He had the decorator in tears because he was so mean to her. Never take any expensive, beautiful item to Chris Cleaners. If anything goes wrong, he will not admit that he/she made a big mistake and you will be left with nothing unless you hire an attorney. Chris would not cooperate at all!!

Mrs. Bennetts decorator approved the washing of these drapes despite the warning that they would probably shrink. I can not write a check for $1000 for a mistake that was not our fault. We follow care labels...when there is no care label we make recommendations to the customer and then follow their request....its that simple. I understand she is upset and I always am willing to make concessions to good customers when there is a basis for replacement....in thisi case there is not. I will do everything I can to have this post removed do to its false nature.
