The most horrible experience ever. I brought a portuguese gold chain to get fixed and bought another one. When I went to pick up both items, the chain that I needed to get fixed looked like it was soldered stiff where the links were cut with something other than gold as it had a white line through it. The other chain that I bought was too big for my daughter so it needed to get some links removed. I left both of them there again so that the owner can take a second look at the chain that needed to get fixed to ensure it wasn't going to break again. When I inquired about the chain today and asked if it had been soldered with gold, the owner proceeded to yell at me, telling me that I was being dispectufl by asking that simple question, told me to pick up my chain and that he was going to "cut that s--- again" (in portuguese). Sure enough when it was picked up it was cut out of spite. The other chain that needed links removed was given to me with a little bag full of gold fragments instead of whole links removed. I've used this jewelry store for years and have never been so offended. If you need a jeweler do not go here. They are butchers not jewelers and the girl that works the counter as well as the owner are disrespectful to their customers and obnoxious. Adding picture of the fragments I got back for reference.
