Ultimate Tanning is the ONLY place and the BEST place to tan in Wilmington, NC. I've tried many tanning salons in the past but none that compare to Ultimate Tanning! The owner, Charles Swain, provides the cleanest, most professional environment to tan in with the latest tanning products available, a variety of tanning beds to choose from and so much more. Each tanning bed is frequently maintained with hot, new bulbs/lamps. At Ultimate Tanning, you will NEVER have to worry about your tan fading or equalizing because of old bulbs/lamps. So many average tanning salons are guilty of taking your money but seldom change their bulbs/lamps, making you feel like you've reached your tanning peak. Ultimate Tanning is far better than average. Convenience of location is important, and Ultimate Tanning is very conveniently located, however, I live 20+ minutes from the salon but still choose to tan only at Ultimate Tanning (even though there is another salon just five minutes from my home) because of Charles' commitment to his customers as well as the quality of his salon. Don't get too caught up in convenience and DRIVE THE EXTRA MILE if you can to enjoy the best tan in Wilmington! Ultimate Tanning has been in business for more than TWENTY YEARS. That alone speaks volumes!
