Unaware that the First Amendment cuts both ways -- that he has the right to say whatever he pleases, but that people have the same right to respond to it in the lawful method of their choice -- Bill underestimated how his proclamation that he's not going to hire anyone while there's a Muslim in the White House would be received during these tough, economic times.
