In the fall, I hired this company for a yard update since I was having a spring party and I wanted my yard looking stellar. 1 I signed the contract, and I was told by Kim the project would start and then stop for a few days before they came back. I thought that was okay but honestly, I would not recommend you agree to this. It was inconvenient and I suspect it was a strategy to get more customers on their schedule within a certain time.The schedule was less was less than beneficial to me. 2Fall plants at the grower were picked over and I got "leftovers" in some cases. For example I wanted a different variety of ajuga and my pre-existing ground cover leaf has dark green leaves versus the new white and lime variegated leaves. When I asked about this, Alpine Meadows said well that what they had. in addition, 2 of the ajuga may not have been planted deep enough, or they have heaved for no apparent reason. Their roots are somewhat exposed and they are struggling to survive. 3.I requested a flowering quince to match my current red one. This spring the quince came up and it is salmon colored. It does not match the 2 existing plants. When I contacted Kim about this she told me this was the grower's fault and would not take responsibility to replace with the color on the contract and I paid for. She chose and purchased them though but dint take any ownership. 3 4 I had to go to nursery myself since her supplier could not identify one of the plants needed to add in our contract. Not sure why i paid for the expertise... and maybe why some of the colors do not match. I added 5 mugo shrubs in an empty area. I was told deer would not eat them. My neighbors told me they do indeed eat them in Morrison. Alpine Meadows should be better versed in what deer resistant plants: Often, Sometimes or Rarely browsed. In the end it didn't matter since they died in the winter. I guess I should have watered them but it would have been appropriate if the landscaper had advised me to do so. 6 I had some kinnick kinnick added; I was aware they are hard to establish. HOwever, the watering system this company rigged was not helpful. I had also watered but lost 2 out of 5 of them anyway. 7 I had some rocks added to some sparsely covered areas. All of the rocks were delivered but the smaller river rocks were not spread well. I hired a different party to take care of that this year. 8 There was a "math error" on the first payment that basically covered the extra charges for credit card. This math error was rectified immediately when we pointed it out but it is suspicious. 9 2 out of 4 of the new Munstead Lavender plants are dead. 10 There was some misunderstanding regarding charges for sprinkler costs would be-- i thought they were included in the original bid but we had add ons on the final day. ****I was told I would get a warranty but NOTHING has been rectified by Alpine 1 The rabbit brush bush I paid to have removed has returned. Meadows. I called and no response, so I began emailing with photos.1 One month after the 4 emails I sent , there has been no action. I chose this company because I could not find any online reviews, negative or positive. I thought I should give them a chance I have never left a negative review in my life, but I feel it is my civic responsibility to share my experience.
