DO NOT USE EXCLUSIVE COACHWORKS IN EAST ORANGE, NJ! I hired the son of the owner of this business (who runs his small business in a small space in this same business) in October of 2019 to paint my 1971 Honda CT70 classic motorcycle. The son (Mario) said he was being coached by his father during the process and I spoke with the father multiple times so I thought I was safe. AFTER ONLY SIX MONTHS my bike developed HUGE CRACKS all over the paint job. I called the son (who avoided my calls for a few weeks) and he said he only guarantees his work for 30 days. So I called the father and he said (and I quote) I can't believe you're making such a big deal out of this when people are dying of Covid. I asked him what the hell does Covid have to do with the cracks all over my bike? I also asked him how long does he guarantee the paint jobs on the cars he paints and he refused to answer. So I took the son to small claims court and they hired a lawyer who claimed that Japanese steel produced in the seventies was garbage and could have been the root of the problem. The judge admitted she knew nothing about body work so she had to go by the defendant's testimony since he was the only bodywork expert in the court room and ruled in his favor. I have since had my bike painted by a credible body shop in August 2021 and the bike still looks beautiful to this day 8/23/23 over two years later. They said it appeared that the bike was never properly stripped down to the bare metal during the previous paint job and that is why multiple cracks developed all over the bike. Below are pictures of the cracks that formed all over my bike after ONLY SIX MONTHS and the bike was always kept in my garage and never left out in the weather.
