Richard holds an A.B. in architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated in 1984. He has been a licensed architect in the State of California since 1993. He has been an I.C.B.O Certified Building Inspector since 1990. From 1989 to 2001, Richard was employed by the City of Oakland as a Building Inspector. Upon leaving the City of Oakland, Richard brings 12 years of experience as a Building Inspector, with the knowledge in all phases and types of construction and has applied that experience into a unique position as an architect and as a business owner.
