CAUTION!!! Do not shop at this store. Avoid this place like the plague. The employees who work here are friendly and hard working, and the manager, Tim Hildebrand is a great guy, however, there is one major factor that causes this store one of the worst places on the planet... the store owner, Bonna Vanderlyn. This woman needs to be stopped! The citizens of this town like to think of Bonna as a nice and caring person, but they do not see her true personality like I have seen. She treats her employees like second class citizens and has absolutely no clue how to run a grocery store. Seriously, she treats her dogs better than her employees. Bonna is a terrible person and it is sad that she is seen by the community as a generous person. Do not give her your business- she doesn't deserve it!

This past holiday season I had the privilege of being involved in two very worthwhile charities in Van Buren County, Amy's Angels and the VBC Salvation Army. I want to personally thank Bonna Vanderlyn, Tim Hildebrand, the employees and the patrons of Hartford Hardings for their help in both of these ventures. The small donation bucket that was inside the store guarded by the Santa, and the weekend of bell ringing that they graciously allowed us to do helped net a total of over $700 from our community, with a third of that coming just from Hardings! Thank-you for your willingness to help those in need for allowing us to collect there, and for all of your help with the Amy's Angels projects for the holidays also!
