Five stars doesn't give Marilyn enough credit for the incredible job she did for my mom's suprise 80th birthday. So many people commented about the taste of candy. Part of the centerpiece on each table was either a hobby or something that my mom shows a lot of interest in, made out of chocolate. Then there was also the plate of assorted candies at each table. YUM. Before picking Custom Candy Design, I stopped in and tasted about a dozen different things. I don't think I've ever had candy that was so declicious. The owner, Marilyn, told me the chocolate they use is Belgium chocolate. Everything is made in the store. In her showroom she has examples of some of the custom work she has done. For example, an adorable toilet seat, a piano, a phone and a computer, all out of chocolate. The taste of the candy, the big blocks of chocolate personally designed and the chocolate toilet are what persuaded me. I'm so glad I stopped in for a sample. If you stop in, you will find yourself frowning at the candy bars in the checkout lanes of the grocery store. The grocery store stuff just isn't the same!
