I am a Hecla water customer. I am very disappointed about some of the policy you have. Like I sold a piece of property that had water service from hecla. After a year the buyers defaulted on contract. # 1. Hecla came and locked out water meter. Their policy is I have to pay for a service call to turn it on. This is Dead wrong. I did not tell them to cut it off in first place. They turned it off for lack of payment from the other person, then want me to pay to have it turned on. I had paid to have it turned on when I purchased property. And paid my bills on time until I sold it. #2. I can't understand why I have to paid a minium bill even if I do not have water turned on. If I leave it lock and use no water why do I have to pay a bill anyway. No water company that I know of in the U.S. charges a water bill if water is cut off and no water is being used. They say the Ohio Public Service commission as no authority over them so they informed me this morning. So,either the Lawernce County commissioners or board of Directors or someone is in charge of making these unfair rules. And I am trying to get to them. To have them explain why they have to have policies such as these, I have explain above. Carroll Ramey
