We have lunched at our local Sonny's in DeLand, FL a number of times over the past few months. Also less frequently at Sonny's in Orange City. The DeLand store is a more recent opening, replacing Friendly's Ice Cream store. The service is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The food is ever tasteful and generous. One point can be offered re the salad bar. More fruit and veggies would improve the food balance. Cut tomatoes (not cherry) plus peaches for example. The present bar offers little re balance in this matter. We would recommend Sonny's BBQ to all who look for a good lunch.
