Prevention is important! Green Mountain Furniture offers protective stain treatment and warranty protection through Guardsman for upholstery and leather. We also have our own repairman on staff if a problem arises with furniture purchased from our store. Hello Our experience at Green Mountain Furniture was far from enjoyable. When purchasing a swirl rocker we were told that this item was a close out piece, which was except able..We purchased the swirl rocker. We were asked if we would like a protective coating applied at a reasonable price, we agreed. When de lived, it was noticed to have a small smudge area. Judy called the store and explained about the mark. She explained we were leaving the state for a few months to which the reply was we will take care of the piece when you return .Today to my surprise I was informed we were told at time of ordering there was a pen mark on the seat. This was not seen nor told to either of us,it seems they tried to remove it and had made it worse. It was explained to me buy a gentleman who tried to make good on the chair in there store I then spoke with a manager Scott which told me bold face about a pen mark that we signed off on by us? I asked why would I have it coated the chair if that be the case? His smug answer was for later accidents? You bought it as is. It wasn't like that when we bought it was my answer He said well that how it is. This is the professional way of doing business (BBB)
