I found Bridgeton Spring & Welding to be a stellar business from beginning to end. My 1/2 ton pickup sagged under the load of my 28' travel trailer. The equalizing hitch reduced the sag somewhat by (hanging five links.) However the reduction was not enough. Upon advice from a friend, I visited Bridgeton S & W and spoke with Mr. Trout. Several days later, Mr. Trout added a leaf spring to each side of my rear suspension. Upon completion, the rear of the truck sat a couple of inches higher than level. Subsequently, the ride stiffened only slightly. In fact, the ride change was marginally noticeable. The real improvement was realized when I towed my camper this morning. My truck now sits level under the load of the camper. I was able to adjust the equalizing hitch by hanging 4 links as opposed to the usual five. . The truck and the camper now sit level. The unit tows like a dream and the truck rides like a Rolls Royce when towing.
