The association makes false claims to support farming. 1. Farms in Ventura County are not locked in farming until 2050 as you claim. They may develop their land for housing if they follow the procedure. It requires a vote of the people instead of a vote of the supervisors. That does not equal locked into farming. This association also claimed that only Moorpark was opposed to hemp. Again, that is a lie. Moorpark, Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Somis, Ojai also testified to their opposition the smell of hemp. That means your statement that only Moorpark is opposed and is trying to shame the farmers is also a lie. If this group lies about things that are so easy to check, how can I trust them on issue that I cannot fact check easily. This association is not to be trusted.
