I didn't know whether Giroux's eggs were humane, or what, but I bought them religiously at the local Costco in Colchester VT because they were 'almost' local (closer than Costco's alternatives). Giroux's changed to a Styrofoam (or polystyrene, whatever you want to call it) which is not recyclable. I will no longer be buying Giroux's egg from Costco. Get with the ecological program, Giroux's.
