is in regards to the Fundraiser for Barack Obama El. School in November, Claire's Gourmet. I wanted to let you know that I had a problem with one of the products from Claire's and was not able to obtain a resulution from the manager at Claire's. This information may be helpful to the PTA for future business dealings with Claire's Gourmet company. I ordered three items for coworkers at my job: the Pecan Cobber; Breadsticks; and Prezels. I collected all of the items the same day they were delivered to the school, brought them home and placed them in the refridgerator. The next morning, I took them to work and delivered them. Except the Pecan Cobbler had become liquidified, and leaked out all over my car, going through its packaging, and the back I carried it in. It was leaking sticky caramel sauce. I presented it to the customer, who proceeded to throw it away, since it seemed to be inedible, and was a obviously unsanitary and unable to be eaten. Plus it was a mess. I was not able to collect the money from that customer, since she did not receive an acceptable product. So, now I've lost $14.00. I called Claire's at the number on the order sheet, in which a representative took my message and said the manager would call me. After not receiving a call by the following week, I called again and asked to speak to the manager.
