I hired the company to 2021 to replaster my pool, repair cuping bricks and waterlines. Replastering was of poor workmanship; pool feels rough and is uneven. The coping bricks were damaged with saws. The waterline tiles were damaged with plaster and had to be fully replaced. Upon completion of the replaster, the company required me to hire them for the weekly cleaning/maintenance of the pool or they would not be able to warranty their work. This was not disclosed when I hired them to re-plaster the pool when they told me they had a 10-year warranty but, since I noticed problems with the pool, I reluctantly hired them to do the weekly service of the pool. Things just went from bad to worse as my pool's condition was terrible, which has never happened before or after this company. First, the pool developed scale (calcium buildup) and algae. The company told me different stories to explain this and even tried to blame the problem on a manufacturer's defect in the Diamond Brite which is why I contacted the product's manufacturer who sent a rep to inspect the pool and who reported that Diamond Brite was not used in my pool as required by the contract. I had a different company inspect the pool and they told me that the pool was not properly prepared before refilling it with water and lots of plaster and material were left in the pool which caused calcium buildup and who additionally removed the saltwater chlorination system telling me that the debris in the pool damages the system's cell and the system might be contributing to promoting calcium levels that could be harmful to the plaster. I confronted the company with this information, and in response they performed an acid wash in April 2022 in such a bad way that the pool developed mottling (permanent color variation streaks). After months of promises and excuses, I had no choice but to take legal action against the company which ended up in a settlement with their insurance company.
