The Tahiti Cabinets works like a snail, but they will alter/falsify the quote in a hurry just to get your money. Beware! 8-24 Requested a quote from Tahiti Cabinets for two office cabinets for our church. The Tahiti Cabinets sales said they are too busy, cannot come to the site for consultation. She asked me to send her pictures and measurements. They will quote based on my measurement and pictures. That should have been the warning sign. Who makes cabinets without on-site consultation? 9-1 They quoted via email and told me they would schedule a field tech the next day to do site consultation. No call, nothing for 17 days. So I assumed they don't want the business. 9-17 An email said they are now working on this quote. I was surprised to hear from Tahiti Cabinets, but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for their tech to come on-site for consultations. Still, I gave them another 7 days, nothing, no one call to schedule an on-site consultation. 9-24 Waited too long, so I email Tahiti Cabinets that I am not interested anymore. Keep in mind, until now, there is only a PDF quote, which I did not sign and accept; no on-site consultation or measurement, nothing. 9-25 Tahiti Cabinets emailed me and said if I cancel, they will bill me for the engineering drawing fee. WTF? I had never committed to the engineering drawing, and there is no engineering fee on the quote. How did they make engineering drawings without coming on-site? 10-5 One week after I reject their quote, Tahiti Cabinets sent me an altered, falsified quote dated 10-1 and showing a 268 dollar engineering fee, which was not on the original quote. Their owner Mark Ramsey actually signed off on the altered, falsified quote. 10-9 Sure enough they sent me a fake invoice. I suspect they want to use the fake invoice to send me to collection or sue me in the small claim court. Do they know that falsifying invoices to con people's money is a crime?
