It's possible that the previous user god a bad batch, perhaps? Honey flavor can vary depending on time of year. Recently bought a bottle at a store in Pittsburgh, PA (about 3 hours from Berryville driving) and it tasted a little bland, but very smooth. I would guess that this honey is heat treated/pasteurized, given most raw honeys have a bit more of of a crystal structure in them. If you're looking for really strong sweet flavor, look for a non-clover honey, such as wildflower or sourwood, and look for honey that comes in jars labelled "raw" as opposed to "natural"

Wow i just purchased Gunter's Pure honey clover and I am not sure how this product is in the market. It tastes completely unnatural, bitter and gross.

Why do they put a pull tab on the small bottles that are like a bear you still need to use a knife to open it
