Sandy Beach can only be described as God's country. Took my son and two of his young friends to spend the weekend. We were night fishing on the dock and talking about how brilliant the night sky and stars looked up there. So spectacular. I sat and soaked it in while fishing and dreaming and noticed it was awful quiet for three pre-teen busy boys. I turned around and there they were, laying on their backs on the dock and just watching the stars! Just transfixed. That was ten years ago and my kids, grandchild, friends and family still treasure our piece of heaven every weekend we can. If you need chocolates on your pillow and room service keep on driving to MN. For a relaxing, laid back down to earth good old time come and visit Sandy Beach. You will NOT regret it!!
