Do not use A-1 Installation if you can avoid them. They were the company that installed our new dishwasher purchased at Sears. The installation was done incorrectly and flooded our living room and soaking the carpet. Initially they told us it wasn't their problem, the installation was fine and we should call Sears because the dishwasher was bad... but guess what... after an investigation it was bad installation!!!! It took 5 days for the carpets to be dried and then cleaned and during that time we could not use our living room. We were assured we would be refunded our full installation fee as well as having the carpet cleaning covered. Well... that didn't happen and after 6 weeks of calling them they only refunded a portion of our fee because "the cost of cleaning and repairing the carpets was more than they expected so they won't give the full refund". I have never seen such poor business ethics... I will be reporting this to Sears and hopefully they find a new company to work with.
