In 1983, Alan Firkser and Suesanna Voorhees opened Paper Conservation Studio,Inc. in a small garret at Madison and 84th Street in New York City. We moved from there to a slightly roomier facility at Columbus Circle in 1998. In 2000 Susanna retired from the business. Alan has continued on and is looking to move soon to larger quarters.
