I placed an order with Sally Cassell of Rooms to be Remembered on March 10, 2018. My shade arrived and was installed on schedule 16 days later, but, unfortunately, Sally incorrectly measured the window opening and the blind was too large.
I called her the following day. Since I still had the blind installed, I was able to use it somewhat and also noticed that the lift system Sally recommended, was not functional for the space as the literise lift was directly behind a 15" faucet in my kitchen garden window. She told me that the shade had already been manufactured and she could no longer change the lift system, but she agreed to come take a look.
On April 11th, Sally came to check the lift system and she was also unable to operate it easily so told me she would meet with her rep to see what could be done and would be in touch with me the following week. I did not hear from her the following week or the week after. I emailed her 4/24 without a reply. I emailed her again on 4/28 (17 days later) and she told me I hadn't heard from her because she had experienced a back injury and she had cancelled the appointment with her rep.
On May 2, I received an email from her to let me know that she had ordered me another blind with a lift system that would work better for my space. I just learned today that she never ordered it. I emailed Hunter Douglas directly and they have placed a rush order for my shade which is due to be installed 3 months after it was originally ordered.
