This company ripped me off. The owner/publisher and her staff are non-communicative and do not provide the services that you pay for. When terminating my contract the owner came up with extra charges for services that never happened and refused to remove them. The owner also would not discuss the charges and went silent not responding to emails. I had to make a report with the Ohio BBB in which Halo is not registered with just to have someone mediate between us and the stupid mediators felt that great explanations were provided for Halo's chump charges and none of my questions were answered. Halo's owner will sale you charm but watch out! Instead of giving me the correct refund the owner and her attorney told me to sign a mutual agreement form releasing both her and her staff from being held responsible for the poor services provided and I refused to sign and have not heard from the owner since. Why would I sign a form that was never discussed prior to signing a contract and is not required in terminating a contract with Halo. When I said that I could sue, that's when the owner/publisher ran to get an attorney prior to BBB and went even more silent than she's been since I was a client. The owner tries to get back at you when you terminate even when valid reasons and concerns are present. By the way you do not have to have a reason to terminate, but the owner will use that against you as well and try to keep your correct refund. Also, the so-called settlement offered was the same amount as the incorrect refund and Halo felt that they were being fair. Give clients the correct refund and don't charge for incomplete and non-existent services that never happened. Also Halo was found under Ohio but operates in Texas and Mexico. The contract is for Texas. Halo is listed under several addresses and emails and they never pick up the phone. Halo also calculates how many times you email and charges you without your knowledge. Who gets an attorney when you only wanted to discuss false charges? The owner has refused to return two refund since terminating and its past 30 days. So basically Halo took over $6,000 and refuse to give the correct refund and thinks that its okay. This is robbery! Everyone that I contacted for help to get my refund was lied to by the owner. She told my bank that she owes us nothing. She even lied about a settlement and the refunds that she is supposed to return. The owner thinks she's above the law! They are 5 star frauds.
