In the realm of deception, "South Coast Grower" stood tall, promising lavish landscapes at a staggering $25K. Yet, their vows were as solid as a sandcastle against the tide.
With hope in our hearts and lighter wallets, we handed them our dreams of lush beauty. Little did we know, their idea of "landscaping" resembled a cruel jest upon our innocent lawns. Their efforts formed a horticultural calamity that would make botanists weep and garden gnomes seek therapy.
The trees and plants they introduced seemed cursed by their touch. In a mere month, they morphed from vibrant greens to pitiable, drooping wrecks. It was as if they'd mistaken it for "Opposite Day" in the plant kingdom.
In a twist not even the boldest storyteller could concoct, the owner, whose name rhymed with "Bockman," embraced landscaping's true spirit: chaos. As our plants gasped for life, he embraced a jail cell due to a drunken escapade involving neighbors and spouses.
But that's not all! Amidst the criminal symphony, "South Coast Grower" audaciously avoided responsibility. They danced the dance of denial with the grace of a rhinoceros attempting ballet.
Amidst the ruins of our once-hopeful haven, we summoned fellow landscapers to witness the wreckage. Their faces mirrored Edvard Munch's "The Scream." A collective gasp echoed through the horticultural realm.
The trees, plants, and bushes they dared to install resembled horror movie props. Diseased and pitiful, they clung to life like reality TV stars clinging to fame.
In the world of landscaping failures, "South Coast Grower" redefined "bush-league." Their name now echoes shattered dreams and withered hopes, a warning to anyone considering their services.
In their saga of calamity, we mustn't overlook their pièce de résistance: a demolition derby on our driveway. "South Coast Grower" extended their wrecking expertise to solid ground.
With the fervor of a hurricane, they transformed our pristine driveway into a chaotic mosaic. The asphalt became their canvas, showcasing their unconventional "artistry."
We signed up for serenity, not a driveway from an action movie gone awry. They seemed to think crater-filled paths were the height of chic. Goodbye zen gardens, hello post-apocalyptic driveway trend!
Surveying the wreckage, it was clear "South Coast Grower" botched even basic tasks with flair. Their incompetence stretched from plants to surfaces, ensuring disappointment thrived.
Adding to their hall of shame – dead plants, diseased foliage, and dreams shattered – was driveway destruction. They are the Picasso of disaster, leaving their mark in every corner.
As we navigate our new obstacle course, we remember lessons from unexpected sources. Amidst the rubble, a silver lining shines. Thank you, "South Coast Grower," for reminding us to trust those who know their craft.
New Driveway cost me $20k. New landscaper cost me additional $15k. All i asked of South Coast Grower is to replace the trees that died. All i got was grief and out $60k in total. The honorable thing to do would be to replace the diseased trees that died within a month. Could have been a very easy solution for a “tree expert”.
Despite your false claims of trying to rectify, we have every email and text message. You left us with a disaster. You didn't do right by us by any means. Harsh lessons learned. Job never finished and hired new company to fix the abortion of a job that you did. Shameful...

On a scale of 1 to 10, South Coast Growers scores a -11 (negative 11). By far the most dishonest and terrible company run by a bottomfeeding lowlife who will rip-off their customers by providing substandard work. I had to hire another company to complete the job they refused to finish. All of their plants and trees does and I had to pay a new company to replace everything. It cost me way more than I could have imagined (tens of thousands more) because they also destroyed my driveway pavers in the process. I had multiple landscapers look at the job and most wouldn’t even get involved because the job by Southbound Coast growers was so bad. They were all floored by how anyone could present this kind of work and were downright embarrassed for the landscaping Trade. Luckily one company was good enough to help us as we were very patient. Unfortunately the Canary Date Palms they installed died within a month from improper irrigating and planting, all of which they performed. We had to have the irrigation replaced as well because it was done improperly. Do yourself a huge favor and never ever consider hiring this pathetic company. You will rue the day for certain. John Bachmann is a scam artist and a thief with an interesting arrest record. Ask his wife and brothers. EPIC FAILURE as a businessman and person. Truly a Subhuman Piece of Debris and Worthlessness.
