An old New England Plank construction farm house turned country inn. A beautiful quiet location on the back side of Mount Sunapee. A BYOB facility The Back Side Inn does Lodging, Dining, Catering, Special Events & Functions such as weddings. The inn is nestled on the 'back side' of Mount Sunapee in the Darmouth Lake Sunapee Region. The inn is an old plank construction farm house with several additions turned country inn. During winter season the focus of our business is to cater to couples, families, groups & ski teams visiting Mount Sunapee Resort, we also have direct access to snowmobile trails right out our back door. During summer season we focus on groups here for all sorts of events and the restaurant is fully open to the public. The is also host to many weddings under tents in the yard & gardens throughout the summer & into fall foilage season. If you are looking to get away to a quiet out of the way place this is it.
