Gary Drendel
To answer Terry Zearing's comment. This is an ex-employee who came out of the Work Release Program, that I had given a chance to make an honest living.
During his employment, I agreed to sell him a bucket truck which he did not complete paying for before he quit without notice.
Also during this time, I found that he had advertised on the internet as my business without my permission, trying to take jobs from my company.
I have over 45 years of climbing experience, therefore I trained him to be a better, safer climber. This also included paying for three days of classes through the
International Society of Arboriculture, in Coeurd'Alene, Idaho, to further this knowledge.
Although I provided the transportation there and back, he chose not to attend part of the classes.
In return for all of my efforts, I only asked for an honest day of work @$20.00 per hour pay.
I will continue to trust that if you help others, they will appreciate it.
Since this company was established in 1949, this is the first slanderous comment from an employee that I have ever received.

I have worked for Gary for over a year now and been cutting trees all my life. Mr. Drendel is top notch in knowledge of trees and shrubs. Been doing it all his life as well. The knowledge and skill that run this outfit just cant be beat. I am also a firm believer in ' ya get what ya pay for'. Ya Gary, I am proud to say I work for you and look forward to another fine season. Also think it should be against the rules for other tree outfits to leave bad recommendations....God Bless.

Drendel removed an 85" tall dead poplar tree for me. It was a dangerous dead tree, yet they got rid of it on-time, and on schedule. The clean-up was excellent as well. I have also had them chip brush for me which was done at the estimated cost, on-time with perfect clean-up. I would highly recommend Drendel's Tree Service

Wow , I am shocked at Mr. Drendel's untruths . Because besides not having employer to employee communication skills I always believed Mr. Drendel to be a decent man who always reminded me of my beloved grandfather Don DeBord, whom built golf courses, all Idaho Power company's , churches , and schools, among other commercial buildings throughout Idaho and Oregon. First of all , Terry Zearing, happens to be my boyfriend of almost 2 years and yes was in the work release program, that is in the past, Terry has been nothing but an upstanding citizen and has turned his whole life around and is a good, hard working, honest man and a wonderful role model to my 10 year old son Rider ! I want to correct Mr. Drendels lies. First it was not Terry who advertised under Mr. Drendel's name , it was another employee named Tracy and I do not understand why Gary continues to blame Terry! Second , it was to my understanding that when Gary said that the remainder of the money's owed on the bucket truck was paid off as a Christmas bonus , and because Gary felt bad for lack of a Christmas bonus 2 years in a row and said consider the bucket truck " paid in full " that meant PAID IN FULL ! Third , I joined Gary , Wanda, and Terry to Idaho and not only did Terry attend all classes but I also attended some of them myself and Terry took down Trees for several of Gary and Wanda's family whom all were wonderful people who showed us good ole' wonderful Idaho hospitality the entire time we were there .
