Have we had a good experience with this business? NO. Shanks has had a dumpster on our property for two years which they empty on Mondays. A couple weeks ago their garbage truck driver backed into our flatbed which is used to haul an excavator. The driver came to the house and apologized, said he" just didn't see it and hit it pretty hard." He then called Dave Shanks and reported the accident to his boss, handed us the phone and Dave Shanks said he would pay the damage. Fine. But when we took it in for repair, they fixed the taillight corner that was smashed in and patched the fender area but didn't repair the alignment. The flatbed is so out of alignment that it needs to be comalonged every time the machine is loaded on or off now. We called Shanks and asked him if we should take it back to that company to fixed and instead of a return phone call, they came and took the dumpster. When we called to ask why they would take the dumpster and what they would like us to do about the damage that still wasn't repaired, we were told very icily by Debbie Shanks that "we're through, we're done, we ain't paying for nothing!" We asked her to have Dave Shanks call us but he hasn't returned the calls. THIS IS HOW SHANKS HANDLES AN ACCIDENT WHERE THEIR GARBAGE TRUCKS RAMS INTO A CUSTOMERS PROPERTY?!
