Academic support and independent living skills for students identified with a learning disability. Academy For Independence specializes in educational strategies, independent living skills, mentoring, and advocacy for individuals with challenges in executive functioning and students who have a mood disorder, a learning disability, or process information differently. We provide individualized interventions in a safe and compassionate environment. We are highly dedicated to transforming a struggling and discouraged student into a successful and self-confident learner. We assist parents with advocating on behalf of their son or daughter to receive accommodations and services most beneficial for their student. We provide instruction and support for individuals living independently to manage life challenges effectively and smoothly.
