I would not recommend them. when you pay off the car you don't get all your stuff from them. and they call you 2 days before your payment is do. I was never late with my payment but would get a call all the time wanting to know when I was making my payment. they are very rude.

Universal Acceptance is the crappiest finance company in Toledo besides NorthCoast finance. Their financing is full of nonsense. Who has to pay $390.00 a month on a car with 96,000 miles on it? Then, with each payment, the pay off amount kept changing. If anyone suggests Universal as a finance solution, run away as fast as you can!

Went to Dave White Auto Credit for a car, Jon was very helpful in getting into my car. The experience went well for a while. After about 8 - 9 months things started going wrong with the car. I called Dave White and the bank they use Universal Acceptance, to either help me get a different car, help pay for repairs or extend my loan adding cost of repairs to the loan. Lets start from beginning. Tie rods went out had them replaced. Sensor on fuel pump went out (200.00 part then labor on top of that) it sits on top of gas tank so u have to drop the gas tank to get to fuel pump. No help from Dave White or Universal Acceptance. Next the transmission goes out of it. Again no help from Dave White or Universal Acceptance. I paid $2100.00 out of pocket on top of the 320.00 month car payments. About 2 months after transmission fixed the radiator goes bad throwing water into my new transmission. So there's another 250.00 for new radiator and gravity draing of transmission and fluids for both parts. Again no help from Dave White or Universal Acceptance. Now I have to get transmission professionally flushed due to a part that cools the transmission not being able to get all the water out of transmission. Now it needs flushed but then they need to make sure the transmission was not damaged due to the water. So, I called Dave White and Universal again to get help and the answer on Nov 29th 2012 is that they will pay half the cost of flushing the transmission so I can drive it up there so the
