I am not writing this as a recommendation, I am writing this to the association to change your by-laws. I think that it is absolutely unfair that Whisper Walk does not allow small pets for the elderly. Don't you realize that the older these people get, they are very lonely and need a companion? Why don't you put yourself in these elderly people's position? I totally understand that no one wants to walk into "dog poop". However, that can be controlled. First off, keep the weight down to about 15 lbs. Most small dogs are "paper trained". Also, you can put into ina contract that if the dog is caught "pooping" outside, and it is not picked up, a summons will be given. If the dog is a "barker", they must give the dog away. All rules are made to be broken. However, by the Association not having a "pet" policy, you are breaking elderly people's hearts!!! I think it's about time that the Association reconsider their "no pet" policy!!!
