Welcome to Ada Family Eye Care! Ada Family Eye Care was established in October of 1992, but its history runs much deeper than that. Dr. Chris Gurley is a third-generation eye care business in Ada, following the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Kenneth Hensley paved the way in the mid-1940s when he opened Oklahoma Optical. Floyd Gurley continued the business for 49 years. Chris started his optometry practice in 1992. After earning his degrees from East Central University in Ada and New England College of Optometry in Boston, Chris began his practice in Ada.
