Unfortunately AGAIN I have to put in a negative review about this company. They owe my company $12,000 and the at this point are refusing to pay because I keep getting the run around. I have been in contact with them and they continue to say they will get with accounts payable but nothing more. At this point we are seeking legal action. We did all of this work in good faith with the expectation of being paid and still to date nothing. I work with a lot of other management companies but Multi South is by far the worst one I have personally had to deal wjth.

My first year living at 266 Lofts started off well, but abruptly the true unprofessional skills and Live Up Front management’s carelessness of residents experiences here came to light. Since I first put my request in 6 months ago regarding my refrigerator and freezer each working on and off, management has yet to simply resolve the issue by purchasing a new refrigerator. And I have been very patient as writing this review today, my freezer still isn’t making ice. However, this is not at fault of the two maintenance guys who have endlessly tried to remedy the issue and have to work at all of Live Up Front properties. Secondly, as stated by others most of the lofts are Airbnb or Stay Alfred (which is kind of a don’t ask don’t tell thing because I was not made aware of this when I signed my lease; actually became aware when family came to town for Memphis in May and were staying downstairs) and parties are held here all of the time. In recent months, there was a party held by an Airbnb/ Stay Alfred guest here in which GUNSHOTS were fired, around 1-3:00a and I had work in the morning and was terrified, and it was on the EXACT floor that I am residing. As much as management here claims to care about our experience and our safety do you think they said one thing about this to residents or sent out a letter regarding the incident? No they did not. Thirdly, the management is solely about getting money. When I initially moved here parking in the little alley behind the building was free, approximately 10 parking spots. Then two months into my lease they started charging $100 a month for the spots. However, they added one loading/unloading zone for the approximately 75 tenants to still be able to use. Then without notice even though management “claims” that they made tenants aware, they took the loading/unloading sign down. So that left all other 65 tenants without anywhere safe to unload their groceries etc outside of either parking on unsafe downtown Memphis streets and walking back and forth to complex with items or parking at MLGW Garage across the street and doing the same. Lastly, they partner with one of the worst towing companies in the city, Superior (please reas their reviews). So recently being that there is no loading/unloading sign, and there is no policy or sign that states the exact amount of time that you can park in an empty, unpermitted spot, with your flashers on, my vehicle was towed, and management did not care nor provide a reasonable remedy to the issue and still has not. Management only chose to defend why they took the loading/unloading sign down and gave a “recommendation” on what not to do to prevent vehicle being towed but not guaranteeing that it won’t be towed. Simply, you would expect the property to lay out the exact guidelines to tenants and work with the towing company to insure fairness with their OWN tenants, not just random people parking on the property, but that is not the case here. Even though tenants pay over 1k to live here you can easily feel like you’re living in an affordable housing complex with all the issues you have to deal with and the unprofessional management skills. And I have reached out to management about my issues via email and gotten minimal, uncompassionate responses. So management please don’t comment pretending that you care and would like to discuss these issues more in depth. And if there are good reviews left on here it’s from people that don’t even live on the property or any properties managed by Live Up Front. So best of luck to anyone planning to live here at 266 lofts or any property dealing with Live Up Front management. I sincerely wish I hadn’t moved here or renewed my lease before the towing issue
