I had a very bad experience with the Landlord. Elizabeth Shaddix manages the properties. I stayed in her apartments for close to 5 years and when I had to move out she said she would give me my $250 deposit back after I clean the house and give her the keys. I had to leave the State of AL and move to CA. So she had promised me she would mail me the check of $250 in a month after I move out and when I contacted her after over a month for the money. She said she won't be giving it back as I had returned the keys with less than a months notice. She had not even signed a contract with me over this 4 + years and I had always been regular on my rent. But still she said as per the contract(which was never made) I lost my deposit. Had I known that I would not have spend close to $75 buying cleaning supplies for the house. I am a international student and I had referred many students to her. But still I was cheated. So please be careful and make sure you have all the documents signed on paper. DO NOT TRUST WORDS.
