Russ Bomberg is a reliable landscaper unless you enter a garage sale trade for yard work agreement with him. In April 2012, I entered into a verbal agreement with Russ that he would pay me a $150 differential between money owed for lawn service from the sale of outdoor patio furniture, a chiminea and nearly new Charmglow gas grill. We were moving about 2 miles away from a rental home in Montclair to a townhouse on the border of Clifton. After the move, multiple text and phone call attempts to collect the money owed resulted in silence from Russ. The most disappointing part, he profited for years with dedicated landscaping work when I was a home owner. After my divorce he took advantage of my trust that he would pay what was owed for the best items of the garage sale I set aside for him.
