Very Poor Business! DCS Financial have reported to one of the three credit agencies that my arrangement with a local hospital (Peacehealth) was sent to collections. My arrangement and payments were made to PeaceHealth (in full), never to DCS, and on a timely matter for a whooping $400. This took my credit score with that agency from 800 to 620! When I called they had no answers for me except that they said Peacehealth sent this over. When I spoke to Peacehealth about my payments they never mentioned collections or sent any paperwork regarding a concern for a late payment. It is bad enough to have to pay for the high cost of medical treatment, not we have to hold the hand of the billing departments and collections agencies to make sure our credit is represented accurately. This $400 bill was a small part of over $3500 I had to pay to different areas including the hospital, a specialist, a lab, etc. All were paid on time and in full yet this little amount which was mishandled crushed my credit for years to come. Shame on you! No wonder this business is not accredited by the BBB.
