In August of 2019 I went to a Wendy's and purchase a baked potato only to find a possible worm with the same shape and characteristics in the potato after I ingested some of it I immediately took it back to Wendy's then Wendy's employees also said it was a worm (who were later fired including the manager). I was advised to go to the ER which I did the doctors saw the object and classified it as a foreign object ingested needless to say I was beyond sick to my stomach 3 days later had to go back because I irritated my throat from all the vomiting I was doing just thinking I ate a worm after 7 months of the runaround Wendys insurance company put me in contact with shamrock who put me in contact with another potato producer that put me in contact with a Basin Gold representative who was extremely rude as if he was the one that purchased and ate a foreign object I had no cooperation only to find out that basin gold potatoes is the actual producer I spoke to Charlie at 509-545-4161 today (who failed to say that Basin Gold accepted liability) first he accused me of threatening him because I said I was going to the news he then accused me of trying to blackmail them for asking for the location of the facility that the potato came from I made it very clear from the first conversation with the receptionist why I wanted the information I also made it very clear to Charlie why I wanted the information, so I can inform the health department and potential customers of only the facts .so this is how you treat customers that ate something that was clearly not food from your facility.not to mention for 7 months I have been asking to have this potato tested it to see exactly what I ingested 7 months later still no test is it because then they'll know exactly what was in the potato and please find out the difference between foodborne illness vs contaminated food so other company representative won't try to downplay the situation after 7 months of doing nothing
