Billingsley in Mt. Zion has been my service station of choice for many years. Last month I noticed an additional charge of $1.00 for AUTOMATED GAS DISPENSER. on my credit card bill. There is no sign saying, " if you pump gas from our automated gas dispenser it will cost you an additional $1.00" ?????????????? I bought 8 gallons of gasoline so the price per gallon was over 12 cents more. I contacted Billinsley and they said it was NOT their charge, didn't know anything about it , etc. so I contacted credit card company and they deleted charge. I bought gasoline this week and lo and behold when I checked my credit card online the $1.00 AUTOMATED GAS DISPENSER charge is again on my account. IS THIS A SCAM OR WHAT??????????? NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THE CHARGE BUT THE PUMP AUTOMATICALLY AUTHORIZES IT WHEN YOU USE THE PUMP. IS THIS ONLY AT BILLINGSLEY IN MT. ZION OR IS IT AT ALL BILLINGSLEY STATIONS????? Hidden fees are not fair to the public and certainly not the way to conduct business in our city.
