Just heard the news about Louis Shiffman buying and taking over my favorite electrical supply house in Manhattan - Schact Electric on 39 Street. Been buying there for YEARS and thought they were going out of business but just got a call from my man Steve-O from the former Schact and had to give a shout out to him and his new business owners. GREAT move. One thing for sure is if you're an electrician in NYC and hate standing at an electrical supply counter manned with robotic counter folk with little knowledge of product and even less personality do yourself a favor and give Shiffman's smart new venture a try and take your business to 347 west 39st and deal with a place that will not only will bend over backwards to help you but make you want to stay all day and work with you in every way (price-speed-everything). LOVE YOU STEVE! LOVE YOU MARK! Miss you Lou and may God bless you. We miss you Bro! From this day forward my men are not allowed to go anywhere else in Manhattan as long as my boys are there in Hell's Kitchen. God bless all of you and see you all soon! Very happy for you guys!
