I am building a house in Pasco and got a bid from Concrete West, as well as other bids. Two of us were making decisions regarding whose bid to accept. The other person, unbeknown to me, had already verbally given the contract to the other bidder. We made the final decision yesterday. When I told Bob of our decision he texted me this: ....Monday you texted me and said you didn't know which way you were going, when in fact that was **** and you know it! You already had ____ on board. Let me know how that works out. They are one of the worst hacks out there. They don't know rebar, they don't know or even vibrate concrete..... I expect an address to bill you for, for a waste of my time. I expect immediate payment and I DONT ever want to hear from you again after that." The decision, as I said, was made yesterday, and I am very glad now that I did not choose Concrete West, as it looks like if there is a disagreement or disappointment at not getting a job, it is not dealt with in a civil manner. I have been told, though, that they do a good job. I just don't like dealing with very disagreeable people.
