Making all natural water ice with his bare hands was one more way to make a living to John Cardullo. In 1953 or '54, Cardullo himself built what has become a landmark in South Philadelphia, the first building in all of Philadelphia built for water ice. Just as John Cardullo hand cranked his water ice over 65 years ago; Anthony Cardullo, 3rd generation Owner uses only fresh fruit he personally selects and squeezes by hand, filtered water and sugar.
