After being a customer for the last 15 years, my experience today will sever my business relationship with JW Green. After dropping off a load of scrap cast iron and proceeding to be weighed out, the scale operator said the passenger iwas in the truck at weigh in and needed to be in the truck to be weighed out. I assured her he wasn't in the truck and was actually standing on the side of the scale house. At this time the scale operator shook her head and stated she was outside and saw him in the truck. Again I assured her he was out of the truck. At this point, I told her to keep the money I was owed and we would not return again. To accuse a 15 year customer of lying for the dollar value of 200 lbs of scrap cast iron, in my opinion is poor business practice. I was extreamly offended at the situation. There are other scrap yards in the area, some pay higher prices. We've always used Greens because of the convience and personal relationship. Today I am sorry to say that has ended.
