I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am for the guys at West Center Automotive. I was on my way to Grand Island for a business meeting that night, and decided to make a quick pit stop in Omaha. As I was pulling out on to West Center St my car died. It s 5pm on Friday and I see an auto repair shop how lucky could I be. I ran back across the street to the auto repair shop to inquire about some help. They told me it would be a $75 tow (for a 20 foot tow) and either wait until tomorrow for them to look at it, or pay an after-hours fee for them to look at my car now. As I ran back out to my car to get my cell phone I see the West Center Auto sign. I figure what the heck doesn’t hurt to see what they will charge me. Mind you it is now 5:15 and W/C closes at 5:30 I explained my situation to Terry and he said they could check it out. Terry and Ed ran out to the street and PUSHED my car across the street and to his repair shop. It is now 5:35 and BOTH men quickly look into what is wrong with my car. Within minutes Terry informs me my alternator went out. He tried to find a cheaper way to repair the alternator, unfortunately I did a number on my alternator and the whole thing needed to be replaced. Ed asks me if the service sticker on my car is accurate. I said yes and Ed asked if I realized that I am over 1,000 miles past due for an oil change. I did but I haven t been back home (Chicago) to get my oil changed. My car was 2 quarts low on oil and Ed said they could either top
