I have been residing in Texas for around thirty years. Prior to moving down here to Purgatory, Earth I had been a lifelong Clinton County, IA resident. I just now was feeling nostalgic and "Smitty's" came to mind, as it was one of my favorite stores ever. Please check your dates for accuracy, however, as I am quite sure they have been around longer. I was afraid they might be closed and shuttered by now. As I shall be returning to the cold country soon, I'm happy they're still going strong!
