I would avoid this person and move on to someone who will not take advantage of you. I hired Mr. Hanselman thinking that he would be my advocate and design something that I wanted and needed. Instead, I find that he is an advocate for a particular product which happens to be very expensive. He turned my $100K budget into a $300K design and really didn't care, as long as I used the building product that he is advocating. I suspect that he gets a commission from that company also. He charges way too much and his designs are "out of this world" expensive. He didn't listen to this customer, and when given a chance to make it right, he wants to charge MORE money. A true rip off....
