Mr. Cox is non responsive to problems with his construction. The AC unit failed at our home - while under warranty - and Mr. Cox completely ignored any correspondence from us, our real estate agent and the BBB. Since a complaint was filed with the BBB, we have discovered short cuts he took in the whole house electrical wiring and the construction of the bedroom and bathroom over the garage - short cuts that will cost us thousands of dollars to correct. Mr. Cox would not come even close to passing a Holmes Inspection. If you use him as your builder, be sure to have your own point man on the job daily overseeing every detail of the project. Furthermore, budget in extra money for independent inspections of everything that is done: wiring, moisture barriers, flooring, caulking...everything!
